You know when you're on a road trip and your little sister is whining that she needs to go to the bathroom, and when you ask her why she didn't go ten minutes ago at the rest stop, she says "I didn't have to go then!" That's what this snow feels like.
Winter keeps deciding it's not done yet. Now that it's spring it finally shows up. But I'm not complaining (that much). It sure is beautiful!
Ellen is a good friend of mine from the photography program. We decided to do a few photos in a cozy little cafe before heading up into the snowy mountains.
You may have noticed this is one of my favorite places for photos. But even outside of photography, I absolutely love coming up here. It's where I go when I need to get into the mountains. It's such a beautiful place. And it's so close!
We were a little worried about the forecasted rain, but decided to go for it. And we were so glad we did! It ended up snowing those big, slow-falling flakes that you catch in your mouth and make you feel like you're in a snow globe. And Ellen and Will got some pretty unique engagement photos out of it.
Snow makes things so quiet and peaceful. It was great.
And Ellen and Will were so much fun. Ellen is so full of life and enthusiasm, and Will's quiet wit kept me laughing. All three of us played off of each other's energy to get some great photos.
You see? Winter isn't so bad :)
Did this session make you all warm and fuzzy inside? Cool beans! If you're interested in having me do your wedding photos, go ahead and contact me so we can discuss the details.
