So let me tell you a story.
Wayy back in April, I got to do the lovely Misha's senior portraits! (Adorable name right??) Since I was in Salt Lake for a wedding earlier that day, we decided to go up to Millcreek Canyon for the session. We picked out a place to meet, and like all good smartphone users, typed in the address to our phones. Don't worry, we both got lost trying to find it and drove around like losers for a while... But EVENTUALLY we found each other and carpooled up the canyon!
We got to talk a lot on the drive, and she is so easy to talk to. She's so warm and friendly, I instantly felt like we were good friends. That made this session feel like we were just hanging out up the canyon- and that's the best :)
I just love her genuine expressions in these photos! You can practically see the light radiating from her face. Her laugh is so bright and infectious! She was so relaxed in front of the camera, I felt like she was the one in charge of making me feel comfortable. It made the photos look effortless :)
Oh, and did I mention she's a ballroom dancer?
I suppose you could've guessed that one...
We got to drive around the canyon a bit, and found PLENTY of pretty places. Can't ever go wrong with mountains, really :)
Now that she's graduated, Misha is heading off to BYU to study English and dance on the ballroom team. I've seen this girl dance, and BOY can she move! She's going to be a fantastic addition to the team, and I'm so excited to see her around!
Misha is seriously one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I'm so grateful for the chance I got to get to know her, and make another friend. She's going to do awesome things at BYU!! Hopefully we'll get to hang out ;)
